Mandy's comedic abilities came naturally to her and at the early age of 16 she was invited to join Esther's Follies, the renowned sketch comedy troupe in Austin. Just a few years later she would be performing with the troupe in a pilot for Comedy Central. Two years later, after graduating from Vassar College as a film major and where she was in both the improv and sketch comedy troupes, Mandy moved to LA and wrote KICKED IN THE HEAD, a one-woman show that received rave reviews and ran for a year at the Sacred Fools Theater. She also wrote comedic songs which she performed while playing guitar at various venues around Los Angeles which led to a test deal to join the cast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. She also wrote and starred in the Emmy winning digital series DROPPING THE SOAP (executive produced by Jane Lynch), and continues to write and direct, most recently the feature film, JESS PLUS NONE. Mandy performs regularly on stage in the variety show, MISCAST and co-hosts the Mandcave podcast.
